Late in the evening on 28 February 2021, a fluorescent green fireball flew through the sky over the UK and was captured by meteor camera networks. Following videos and reports, deductions were made that meteorites landed near the Gloucestershire town of Winchcombe. A local family, the Wilcocks, found and collected the meteorites after initially mistaking them for BBQ charcoal. Our collection features rare fragments of this incredible moment in recent meteorite history available to study, analyse and marvel at. Browse our chondrite meteorites for more.
