A stunning large piece of golden, gem quality Baltic amber containing a fossil Wood Gnat and a strange looking Insect pupa (Likely a wood gnat pupa). Comes in a bespoke plastic frame stand and with a species and locality label. Found:- Eocene Period, Amber Strip Mines, Poland, Eastern Europe. Age:- 50 Million years old. Size of amber = 1 cm wide by 2.5 cm high.
