A 4 inch, “shale grey” coloured tooth from the lower jaw of a megalodon shark. The tooth lacks serrations and has been badly deformed during the sharks life. The accompanying photos shows how badly deformed the tooth had become before finally falling out of the jaw. Comes with a stand for display and a species/locality label. Found:- Miocene Period, Charleston Area, South Carolina, USA. Age:- 10 Million Years Old. Size of tooth measured on the slant from tip of tooth to root end (L1) = 10.2 cm (4 inches) long.
