A stunning huge/large 3 inch long piece of golden, gem quality Baltic amber containing a host of large and rare fossil insects including a huge Bristletail, a fossil caterpillar, 3 Wood Gnats and 2 long legged March flies. Comes with a display stand and with a species and locality label. Found:- Eocene Period, Amber Strip Mines, Poland, Eastern Europe. Age:- 50 Million years old. Size of amber = 3.8 cm (1.5 inches) wide by 7.6 cm (3 inches) high.
