4.25 Inch, Cretaceous Theropod (Spinosaurus) Dinosaur Tooth from Kem Kem Beds, Morocco (SKU V1454):- Sigilmassasaurus aff. brevicollis

A very well preserved, robust, thick set Tooth from a Cretaceous Spinosaur Theropod dinosaur from the famous Kem Kem beds of Morocco. Due to the size and robustness It has affinities to the described species of the largest spinosaurid from this location which is Sigilmassasaurus brevicollis.  There are no repairs to the tooth. There is tooth usage wear to the very tip surface (its been used!) which can be seen in the accompanying photos which is standard for such teeth. Furthermore no restoration is visible when studied under a black (UV) light. Comes in a display box for display and with a species/locality label. Found:- Tegana Formation, Aptian, Cretaceous, Kem Kem Basin, Morocco, North Africa. Age:- 100 Million Years Old. Size of Tooth = 10.8 cm (4.25 inches) long. Display Box Size = 13.3 cm (5.25 inches) wide by 15.8 cm (6.25 inches) high.
