3.75 Inch, Cretaceous Theropod (Carnosaur) Dinosaur Tooth from Kem Kem Beds, Morocco (SKU V1475):- Carcharodontosaurus aff. saharicus

A large great tooth from a Cretaceous Carnosaur (Carcharodontosaurus) Theropod dinosaur from the famous Kem Kem beds of Morocco. It is difficult to assign a species to dinosaur teeth but its is highly likely that this tooth came from the most common Carnosaur species from that formation which is Carcharodontosaurus saharicus. There repair to the very tip. The Tooth has lost some enamel. There is some filling of the cracks on the surface mainly on the back of the tooth. All this can be seen in the accompanying photos. Comes in a display box for display and with a species/locality label. Found:- Tegana Formation, Aptian, Cretaceous, Kem Kem Basin, Morocco, North Africa. Age:- 100 Million Years Old. Size of Tooth = 9.5 cm (3.75 inches) long. Display Box Size = 13.3 cm (5.25 inches) wide by 15.8 cm (6.25 inches) high.
