1.75 Inch, Cretaceous Theropod (Carnosaur) Dinosaur Tooth from Kem Kem Beds, Morocco (SKU V1461):- Carcharodontosaurus aff. saharicus

A very well preserved tooth from a Cretaceous Carnosaur  (Carcharodontosaurus) Theropod dinosaur from the famous Kem Kem beds of Morocco. It is difficult to assign a species to dinosaur teeth but its is highly likely that this tooth came from the most common Carnosaur species from that formation which is Carcharodontosaurus saharicus. There are no repairs, but the tooth has lost a few patches of enamel. A small patch of restoration to the outer edge which can be seen in the  accompanying photos. Comes in a display box for display and with a species/locality label. Found:- Tegana Formation, Aptian, Cretaceous, Kem Kem Basin, Morocco, North Africa. Age:- 100 Million Years Old. Size of Tooth = 4.4 cm (1.75 inches) long. Display Box Size = 8.3 cm (3.25 inches) wide by 10.8 cm (4.25 inches) high.
