All UK orders are dispatched within 24 hours. Delivery costs are weight based. UK orders under 2kgs are dispatched by royal mail first class signed for unless otherwise stated. This takes can take up to 5 working days to arrive. All UK orders over 2kgs are dispatched by courier company such as TNT or DPD or similar. These orders are dispatched the next day and arrive within 48 hours.
International shipping are again weight based and costings also vary with your country of origin. But usually dispatched within 24 hours. Again, items under 2kgs are shipped using royal mail and any orders over 2kgs are shipped by courier service. The delivery times will vary depending on the destination country too. International Please note that as of January 1st 2021 the UK has left the the EU.
We have no problems sending goods/items to the EU
but please bear in mind that due to EU legislation, all goods coming from outside the EU may incur customs charges.
The cost will depend on your countries customs duties. In the UK this is VAT at 20%
This charge is not included in the sales price on our website and will be an additional charge.
To combat this we are still offering free shipping charges to Europe (at the moment).
NOTE- We are seeing severe delays through EU customs with parcels taking ALOT longer than normal to arrive. In some cases it can take 3-4 weeks. Please order in advance and please be patient during this time
Our last Overseas and European shipping date is two weeks before Christmas.
Our last UK Shipping date is usually 10 days before Christmas or 5 working days. After this time we can post but we can not guarantee delivery.

Please note we do not currently offer this service for Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland as well as our international customers.

Items must be opened and checked once received. Any damaged or faulty items must be reported within 7 days of receipt. We can’t be held responsible for any issues reported after this time. This is to make sure no problems/damages occurred during transit.
• All items must be returned in an “as sold state”.
• If returning, please make sure the item is packaged correctly so it’s not damaged in transit, as you (the customer) are responsible until it reaches us. Any damage caused on the way back invalidates our return policy.
• The parcel can take up to 7 working days to be returned to us, unless sent via special delivery.

Once the item has been received, our returns department will carry out an inspection to ensure the item is still in brand new condition. Once this inspection is completed and passed, a full refund will be issued minus any delivery charges you chose to pay when ordering. Your refund will be returned to you via the same method you used to pay. Fossils-uk will try to process all returns as quickly as possible but please allow up to 7 working days for these to be processed.
