A very rare large beach pebble that was found to be cramped full of these rarely seen Ammonite species. A lot of work goes into preparing these multiple ammonite pieces. This has stake over 100 hours and has 51 ammonites on the surface (I counted them!). This is from a friends collection which I am selling on behalf of the family. Comes with display stand and with a species/locality label. Found:- Raricostaum Zone, Lower  Lias, Lower Jurassic, Robin Hood’s Bay, Nr. Whitby, North Yorkshire, England. Age:- 200 Million Years Old. Size of Largest Ammonite = 3.8 cm (1.25 inches) in diameter. Overall Size = 16.5 cm (6.5 inches) wide by 22.8 cm (9 inches) high.
