A rare complete stunning museum grade example of this very rare Lower Carboniferous, Fossil fish from a classic USA fossil locality, that i recently obtained from an old 1980’s collection. The rock has just the one glue repair which can be seen in the photo. Comes in a display box with a species/locality label. Found:- Heath Member, Bear Gulch Formation, Serpukhovian Stage, Mississippian, Lower Carboniferous, Fergus County, Montana, USA. Age:- 320 Million Years Old. Size of Fish = 10.8 cm (4.25 inches) long. Overall Plaque Size = 15.2 cm (6 inches) wide by 11.4 cm (4.5 inches) high.
