A rare complete example of this very rare Lower Carboniferous, fossil mantis shrimp from a classic USA fossil locality, that i recently obtained from an old 1980’s collection. There are no breaks, repairs or restoration on this item it is simply stunning! Comes in a display box with a species/locality label. Found:- Heath Member, Bear Gulch Formation, Serpukhovian Stage, Mississippian, Lower Carboniferous, Fergus County, Montana, USA. Age:- 320 Million Years Old. Size of Shrimp = 2.6 cm (1 inches) long. Overall Plaque Size = 5.7 cm (2.25 inches) wide by 4.5 cm (1.75 inches) high.
