A well prepared, complete adult macroconch (female) example of this rare Lower Lias ammonite from a historic location. Comes with a cut base for display and a species/locality label. Found:- “Armatum Beds”, Apoderoceras limestones, Taylori Subzone, Jamesoni Zone, Lower Lias, Lower Jurassic, St, Peter’s field, Radstock, Nr. Bath, Somerset, England. Age:- 200 Million Years Old. Size of Ammonite = 33 cm (13 inches) in diameter. Overall Size = 43.2 cm (17 inches) wide by 38.1 cm (15 inches) high.
