NEW British Fossil Eurasian Woolly Rhino (Merck’s Rhinoceros) Partial Jaw with Two Teeth from the North Sea, England (SKU0319):- Stephanorhinus kirchbergensis

A well preserved, matrix-free, partial jaw section that shows two complete tooth molars found in the North Sea from this rare species of woolly rhinoceros. Stephanorhinus is sometimes called the “Eurasian” or “Merck’s” rhinoceros. Comes with a display stand and with a species/locality label. Found:- Devensian Stage, Pleistocene Period, Dredged from Brown Bank, Off Lowestoft, North Sea, England. Age:- 60,000 years old. Overall Size = 7.6 cm (3 inches) wide by 5.2 cm (2  inches) high.
