A very rare large beach pebble that was found to be cramped full of these Ammonite species. Four ammonites species are present and it took a lot of work goes into preparing these multiple ammonite pieces. This has stake over 50 hours and has 25 ammonites on the surface (I counted them!). This is from a friends collection which I am selling on behalf of the family. Comes with display stand and with a species/locality label. Found:- Falciferum Zone, Upper Lias, Lower Jurassic, Sandsend, North Yorkshire, England. Age:- 180 Million Years Old. Size of Largest Ammonite = 5.1 cm (2 inches) in diameter. Overall Size = 14.6 cm (5.75 inches) wide by 21.6 cm (8.5 inches) high.
