A fantastic, articulated section of ichthyosaurus vertebrae from the yorkshire coast. From the large size of the vertebrae it is likely that these were from a temnodontosaurus ichthyosaur. The only temnodontosaurus that have so far been recorded from the Yorkshire coast is Temnonodontosaurus crassimanus Therefore it is a good assumption that these have com from an individual of this species. A fantastic display piece. Comes with a species/locality label. Found:- Bifrons Zone, Upper Lias, Lower Jurassic, Port Mulgrave, Nr. Whitby, North Yorkshire, England. Age:- 180 Million Years Old. Overall Size  = 25.3 cm (10 inches) long by 24.1 cm (9.5 Inches) high.
