Large beautiful scunthorpe pleruotomaria gastropod. Otherwise known as the slit shell. Preserved in a honey coloured and olive green calcites. A must for any fossil collection. Probably the biggest and best one that i have ever had to sell. Comes with a cut flat base for display and an locality/species label. These plaques are mass death assemblages which means all the animals died at the same time due to suffication in the water column.
